All Roads Lead to Rome or Be Strange Bedfellows?——Perspectives and Paths of Chinese Indigenous Management Research
SU Jingqin,MA Huanhuan,ZHANG Shuai
Currently, both the academics and the practitioners call for indigenous research under Chinese context, while the indigenous management research still faces challenges including theoretical basis, scientific paradigm and methodology. The key to break the rocks is how to develop the indigenous management research in a better way. This paper tries to answer the question “How to conduct the indigenous research in depth?”. From the connotation and characteristics, this paper discusses the problems through two perspectives— traditional culture and contextualization, and propose the access of “Complement each other and work together”, “Part of Featured and General Universality”, in order to help the development of indigenous management research.

The Effect of Structural Organicity on Reverse Internationalization Performance: A Perspective of Dynamic Capabilities
WANG Tao,LU Yuxin,JIN Luoxin
There are increasingly more Emerging Market Enterprises (EMEs) which successfully expand to developed countries. This phenomenon is inconsistent with the traditional internationalization theory. What is the factor that contributes to the success of its reverse internationalization? We identify organizational structure as an important factor. From the perspective of dynamic capabilities, this study explores the effect of EMEs’ organizational structure on its reverse internationalization performance. Collecting data through a survey of 128 Chinese firms that invest in developed counties, we find that structural organicity (flatness, decentralization, and employee multifunctionality) has a positive impact on the EMEs’ internationalization performance through the mediation of dynamic capabilities. Furthermore, institutional distance strengthens the positive relationship.

A Study on Behavior Change Based on the Internet + and Time Competition
FENG Hailong,QIU Yang,LIU Junying
Based on Internet+ competition context and integrated definition of time, and the multivariate analysis and integration of internet+ time competition transformation, zero-sum competitive advantage paradox, main theoretical model/framework on time-based competition and time competition, etc., this study proposed the integrated model of internet+ time competition behavior change. The results showed that the model was deconstructed into internet+ environment/company basic characteristics, time competition behavior change and time-based advantage. The model made the transformation on enterprise time competition orientation into organizational strategy time competition behavior change orientation, and it better bridged theory and practice gaps between time-based competition and organizational strategy behavior change.

Research on Key Role Transformation of Enterprise and Social Network Tie Reconstruction
XUE Min,DU Yifei
Based on the social network theory and from the perspective of paradox lens, this research adopts grounded theory to investigate the key role transformation of enterprise, with dynamic theory model of network ties reconstruction. The findings show that the key individual of the enterprise, regarded as the main body of the paradox, promotes the network ties reconstruction through the role transformation, which will stimulate the change of the type, diversity and the strength of network ties. The network ties reconstruction has a positive feedback for the role transformation. Thus, this study reveals the internal mechanism of the relationship between the different roles of the subject and the external network ties inside the enterprise.

The Effect of Inclusive Leadership on Employee Well-Being: The Mediating Role of Goal Acceptance
TANG Chunyong,MA Maohua,ZHAO Yixuan
Based on the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and goal-setting theory, we discussed the relationship between inclusive leadership and employee well-being. Using data from 716 enterprises’ employees in China, hierarchical regression results showed that there is a positive relationship between inclusive leadership and employee well-being. Our results also verified that the relationship between inclusive leadership and employee well-being is partially mediated by goal acceptance. Moreover, perceived organizational support moderates the relationship between inclusive leadership and goal acceptance, also moderates the mediation effect of goal acceptance.

The Effect of Supervisors’ Response to Employee Voice: The Moderating Effect of Sense of Power
WANG Kai,HAN Yi,YU Hanyan
This research is based on social cognition theory with data from a sample of 276 subordinate-supervisor dyads, starting from the employee advice which is on the action level. Supervisors’ response to voice is taken as mediator, and voice efficacy and affective commitment as the dependent variables, and the sense of power as the moderator variable. The results show that the employee voice behavior has a positive influence on voice efficacy and affective commitment, the role supervisors’ response to voice has a significant mediation effect. The interaction of supervisor’s sense of power and employee voice behavior has a positive influence on voice efficacy, and it doesn’t have a positive influence on affective commitment.

The Impact of Interlocking Directorate Network on Innovation Investment with the Moderation of Organization Slack and Nature of Property Right
YAN Ruosen,HUA Xiaoli,QIAN Jingjing
This study proposes an integration of the perspectives of resource dependence theory and agency theory to explore the relationship between interlocking directorate network and innovation investment. Based on System GMM estimation method and by using the A-share listed companies on Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchange during the period 2008~2015 as research samples, this study empirically investigates the impact of interlocking directorate network on enterprise innovation, the moderating effect of organization slack, as well as the differences of the moderating effects between different nature of property right. It was found that the network centrality positively correlates with R&D investment, while the structural hole has a positive promotion effect on innovation; organizational slack plays a significant moderating role on the relationship between positions of interlocking directorate network and innovation, and the moderating effects differ in the companies with different nature property rights, more specifically, organizational slack negatively moderates the effect of the network centrality on R&D investment but has positive role in the relations between the structural holes and R&D investment; the moderating effect of organizational slack on the relations between network centrality and innovation investment is stronger in the state-owned enterprises, and the moderating effect of organizational slack on the relationship between structural holes and innovation investment is stronger in the non-state-owned enterprises.

An Empirical Research of the Influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on Firm’s Technological Innovation Performance with the Integration of Multiple Perspectives
LI Wenqian,JIA Xingping,LIAO Yonghai,LIU Yi
Based on the listed high-tech companies’ data in China and drawing on the integrated perspective of knowledge and stakeholders, this study empirically investigates the nonlinear influence of CSR on firm’s technological innovation performance, and further combines the perspective of contingency theory to examine the moderating effects of organizational inertia (firm size and firm age) and external environment (competition intensity and market uncertainty). The findings indicate that the influence of CSR on technological innovation performance is inverted-U shaped-CSR can facilitate innovation performance under a certain point, but once exceeding the point, it will turn to impede firm’s innovation performance. Moreover, firm size and competition intensity both negatively moderate the inverted-U shaped influence of CSR on firm’s innovation performance-weaken the facilitating effect and strengthen the impeding impact of CSR on innovation performance, while market uncertainty positively moderates CSR’s inverted-U shaped influence on innovation performance-strengthens the facilitating effect and weakens the impeding impact of CSR on innovation performance.

The Influencing Factors of the Relationship between Corporate Environmental Performance and Corporate Financial Performance: Based on a Meta-Analysis Concerned with Measuring and Situational Factors
XU Jianzhong,GUAN Jun,LIN Yan
Despite the tremendous number of studies on the relationship between corporate environmental performance (CEP) and corporate financial performance (CFP), inconsistent empirical findings exist. Drawing on a hybrid theoretical framework, this study conducts a meta-analysis of Hierarchical Linear Model to analyze the relationship between CEP and CFP by quantitatively integrating the 58 independent samples of 51 domestic and foreign empirical studies. The results confirm that there is a positive and bidirectional relationship between CEP and CFP, and the moderators’ analysis reveals that the relationship is significantly influenced by the measuring and situational factors, such as the CEP and CFP measures, the environmental strategy types, the developed level of countries, the industry, the research time and the data types.

An Empirical Research of Corporate Social Irresponsibility on Financial Performance
LI Qian,XIONG Jie,HUANG Han
From the external perspective, this study divides corporate social behaviors into positive and negative externalities, namely “doing good” (CSR) or “doing bad” (CSiR). We use 3 773 global listed companies from 1998~2015 as samples, studying the influences of two types of social behaviors on financial performance. The results show that the “doing good” has an inverted U shape impact on financial performance, that is, it has a significant positive impact at first, and to a certain critical value, changes into a negative impact; while “doing bad”, that is corporate social irresponsibility, is on the contrary, which has a U-shaped impact on financial performance, that is, it has a significant negative impact at first, and to a certain critical value, has a positive impact.

Research on the Effect of Customer Engagement in Brand Co-Creation on Brand Commitment in Virtual Brand Community——The Mediating Effects of Brand Experience
ZHU Liye,YUAN DenghuaHAO Jia
Based on a questionnaire survey of 509 community members, this study empirically examines the impacts and mechanisms of customer engagement in enterprise sponsored brand co-creation and autonomous brand co-creation on brand commitment in virtual brand community. The results show that both customer engagement in enterprise sponsored brand co-creation and autonomous brand co-creation have positive effects on brand commitment, but their mechanism are different; customer engagement in enterprise sponsored brand co-creation has positive impact on brand commitment through the partial mediating effect of brand experience, and customer engagement in autonomous brand co-creation has positive impact on brand commitment through the fully mediating effect of brand experience; there are differences in the mediating effects of different dimensions of brand experience, i.e., the mediating effect of relational experience exhibits the most significant impact of customer engagement in enterprise sponsored brand co-creation and customer autonomous brand co-creation on brand commitment, followed by affective experience, sensory experience and cognitive experience.

The Moderating Effect of Time Interval between New Product Preannouncement and Its Launching on Brand Extension
ZHANG Qin,GONG Yanping,HUANG Kai
Based on the construal level theory, the authors propose that the relative importance of the quality of the parent brand and the fit between that brand and the extension is influenced by the length of time between the new product’s preannouncing and its launching. Three studies found that the longer the length of the time, the more importance consumer would give to the quality of the parent brand in his new product evaluation; the shorter the length of the time, the more importance consumer would give to the fit between the brand and the extension. This relationship is moderated by the consumer-brand relationship quality.

Individual Susceptibility to Social Rewards and Punishments, Response Sensitivity of Social Rewards-Punishments System and Consumer Unethical Behavior Intention
ZHAO Baochun,WANG Jing
Questionnaire is used to explore the mediation and moderation of four dimensions of reference groups (RG) in the influence of response sensitivity of Social rewards-punishments system (RS) and individual susceptibility to social rewards and punishments (IS) on consumer’s unethical behavior intention (IN). As a result, it is found that IS is a vital step for RS to affect IN, while IS influences IN mainly through a direct path with negative effect. In the indirect paths for them, effects vary with the dimensions of RG, such as negative effect for the path of Group Disapprove (GD), and positive effect for the step of utility information influence (UI) or group approve (GA); It is also found that GA can moderate positively RS to promote IS, and GD can reinforce IS to curb IN in its moderating effect.

Dynamic Pricing for Crowdsourcing Logistics Services with Socialized Providers
WANG Wenjie,SUN Zhongmiao,XU Qi
The socialized services providers are shared by crowdsourcing services platforms to meet the stochastic logistics demand. The dynamic pricing model for crowdsourcing logistics services is built considering socialized services capacity and accumulative cost of losing orders. The optimal solution is deducted using Pontryagin maximum principle. The optimal pricing trajectory to balance the socialized service providing capacity and services demand is studied. And, the optimal pricing to further minimize the accumulative cost of losing orders caused by service provider shortage is analyzed. The numeric simulation results show that the dynamic pricing tactics of crowdsoucing logistics services could increase socialized capacity and expected revenue of platforms. And, socialized services providers with varying wage rates have the influence on pricing and revenue of crowdsoucing logistics services.

Two-Part Tariff Contract for Competing Manufacturers with Common Retailer’s Extended Warranties
MA Jianhua,AI Xingzheng,PAN Yanchun,YANG Wen
This study proposes a supply chain model consisting of two competing manufacturers and one common retailer, where the retailer provides pay-needed extended warranties for the products sold. Each manufacturer has two types of vertical contract strategy options, either a wholesale price or a two-part tariff contract. Taking the wholesale price as the benchmark, the research aims to study the dominant design mechanism for each manufacturer’s two-part contract, and reveal how retailers’ extended warranties and market competition affect the two-part tariff contract choice equilibrium. The results show that both manufacturers conducting two-part tariff contract are found to be the equilibrium of the contract choice. The equilibrium two-part tariff contracts coordinate the total supply chain system and profit the retailer. When market competition is not intense and extended warranty length is lower than certain threshold which depends on extended warranty sensitivity parameter significantly, there exists the dominant fixed fee equilibrium region. If the fixed fee parameters are set in the dominant fixed fee equilibrium region, then the equilibrium two-part tariff contracts profit the manufacturers.

Collaborative Optimization of Heterogeneous Transportation Problems under Emergency
ZHU Li,DING Jialan,MA Zheng
Given heterogeneous relief logistics processes, we focus on the collaborative optimization effects of three typical transportation activities, referred to as wounded rescue, materials distribution and victim evacuation. We construct an integrated routing optimization strategy of three heterogeneous transportation services. Based on this integration strategy, we develop a collaborative routing optimization model with heterogeneous transportation processes and multiple vehicles, aiming to improve the emergency response speed by minimizing the total traveling time. Taking the severe storm of Xuancheng in Anhui as our case, an ant colony algorithm is designed to solve the built model. Also, we perform a comparative analysis on model solutions to justify the heterogeneous transportation collaboration, which demonstrates that the proposed integrated strategy and collaborative model with heterogeneous transportation services are feasible and superior.
