Abstract:Resource is the foundation of enterprises to create and grow. In this paper, resource acquisition is divided into operating resources acquisition and knowledge resources
acquisition. We study the relationship between operating resources acquisition, knowledge resources acquisition and entrepreneurial performance. Then we introduce the moderator variable,
resource management, and discuss it’s different moderating effects on the relationship of two dimensions of resource acquisition and entrepreneurial performance. We examine the hypotheses
using data from 165 firms. Through empirical analysis, we obtain the following results: ①operational resource acquisition has an inverted Ushaped relationship with entrepreneurial
performance; ②knowledge resource acquisition has a Ushaped relationship with entrepreneurial performance;
③resource management strengthens the impact of operation resource acquisition on entrepreneurial performance,
whereas weakens the impact of knowledge resource acquisition on entrepreneurial performance
