Abstract:Based on inductive and deductive methods, this study conducts exploratory research on the structural dimension of responsible leadership in the Chinese cultural context, as well as develops and verifies the measurement scale. Results show that responsible leadership in the Chinese cultural context is a multi-dimensional construct with rich meanings, including four dimensions: self-discipline and stabilizing others, social sentiment, interactive decision-making and long-term strategic orientation. The measurement scale contains 4 factors and 17 items, and the results of factor analysis indicate that the reliability and validity of the scale are all at an ideal level, which proves it is an effective measurement tool.
