1751 A Study of the Impact of Chinese Traditional Culture on Contemporary Management Practice
SU Yong,LI Qianqian,TAN Linbo
Based on rich Chinese modern management practices, under the background of local constructions of management theories, this research investigates the impact of traditional culture on modern management practices, using empirical data. Via in-depth review in 21 leading companies in a variety of industries, the study draws several conclusions, by grounded theory coding techniques analyzing these data. Research shows that Chinese modern management practices is comprised by management thoughts, management patterns, and management operations. Confucianism and Taoism are two most significant influencers in traditional culture: Confucianism that focuses on methodology about social norms has impact mainly on management operations related to people or groups, such as talent management; while Taoism that focuses on world view such as Yinyang and change has influences mostly on management operations relevant to environment or trends, such as strategy. This study also reveals specific influencing mechanism of traditional culture on contemporary management practices.

1760 Strategic Flexibility from the Perspective of Network Embeddedness:Research on the Influence of Talent Flows
SUN Bo,LIU Shanshi,GE Chunmian,JIANG Junhui
By integrating social network embedding theory and human capital theory, this study analyzes the influence of management talent and technical talent flow among enterprises on the strategic flexibility of enterprises. Empirical analysis using LinkedIn’s online resume and listed company news data shows that: (1) Enterprises occupying the central position and structural hole position in the management and technical human capital social network will help to improve their resource flexibility and coordination flexibility; (2) The centrality interaction between the management network and the technology network helps to improve the flexibility of enterprise resources and coordination flexibility, while the interaction of their structure holes only helps to improve the coordination flexibility of enterprises at a significant level of 10%. This shows that the centrality interaction of dual networks has a complementary effect on strategic flexibility, while the complementary effect of structural hole interaction on strategic flexibility is not obvious.

1769 Difference of Social Network Structure in Family Business’Succession, Organizational Silence and Succession Performance
LI Jian,LIU Shijie,CHEN Chuanming
The paper studies the relationship between intergenerational entrepreneurs’ differences and succession performance. Through a three-stage questionnaire survey of 396 valid samples, the results show that after intergenerational succession, the reduction of the social network size, joint strength and network density of the successor entrepreneurs relative to the former entrepreneurs has a negative impact on the relationship performance and business performance of the enterprise succession, but the impact of network centrality difference has not been obtained confirmed; organizational silence plays a mediating role in the relationship between social capital and succession performance; through a moderated mediation model, it is found that the above mediating effect is affected by the inheritance model, that is, the closer relationship between the former entrepreneur and the successor, the stronger influence of difference between intergenerational entrepreneur social capital on organizational silence, and ultimately the stronger effect on succession performance. The research results reveal the mechanism of difference between intergenerational entrepreneur social capital affecting family business succession performance through organizational silence and the context of the inheritance model from the perspective of social capital network structure, which enriches the theoretical research on social capital network structure and also provides a new perspective for the research of family business succession performance.

1777 The Relationship between R&D Sequential Ambidexterity Switch and Organizational Performance
MA Haiyan,ZHU Yun
The study distinguishes the magnitude and direction of sequential ambidexterity conversion, proposes temporal switching capability including absorption capacity and switching efficiency, and constructs the theoretical framework of the relationship among R&D sequential ambidexterity strategies, temporal switching capability and organizational performance in the context of R&D. Based on data of 1 114 listed manufacturing companies in China from 2007 to 2018 and FGLS test, the result shows that the influence of three R&D sequential ambidexterity switching strategies on organizational performance are all in an inverted U-shaped relationship. Switching in proper amplitude benefits organizational performance, but a high jump will harm performance in any direction. The relationship between R&D sequential ambidexterity switching strategies and organizational performance can be positively moderated by temporal switching capability. Absorption capacity has a positive moderating role in the overall and positive strategy of R&D sequential ambidexterity switch, but not in the negative strategy of R&D sequential ambidexterity switch.

1795 Study on the Influence Mechanism of Employee’s Perceived External Prestige and Perceived Internal Respect on Organizational Identification from the Dual Motivations Perspective
HE Kaiyuan,WANG Jigan,SUN Muyun,WEN Ting
Based on the process model of identification, this study explores the influence process of employees’ perceived external prestige (PEP) and perceived internal respect (PIR) on organizational identification (OI) through role ambiguity under the effect of the transmission mechanism of self-enhancement motivation and uncertainty reduction motivation. In addition, this study further discusses the complementary mechanism of PEP and PIR in the above mediating model. The results show that: ① It supports and enriches theviewsof the formation mechanism of OI in the group engagement model. That is, PEP and PIR, which are the sources of employees’ self-worth and status, are able to predict OI under the function of self-enhancement motivation and “sensegiving” by organization in Chinese circumstances. ② Role ambiguity has a negative impact on OI. However, PEP and PIR, which are sources of positive self-evaluation, can be used as a means of “sensegiving” by organization to reduce role ambiguity and then promote OI. ③ PEP and PIR have complementary effect on OI which extends the existing views of the group engagement model: that is, when one lack, the other will have a stronger predictive effect on OI.

1805 Research on the Influence Mechanism of Cognitive Structure of Entrepreneurial Firms’ TMT on the Dual Attributes of Business Model
PANG Changwei,WANG Qiong
Based on the perspective of upper echelons theory and cognitive theory, this study explores the impact mechanism of holistic thinking and analytical thinking of entrepreneurial firms’ top management team (TMT) on the infrastructure and value attribute of the business model. The results show that: ①holistic thinking positively affects the infrastructure attribute of the business model; ②there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between holistic thinking and the value attribute of the business model. That is, when TMT presents a moderate holistic thinking, the value attribute of the entrepreneurial business model is higher; ③there is a U-shaped relationship between analytical thinking and the infrastructure attribute of the business model. That is to say, when TMT shows a lower or higher analytical thinking, the infrastructure attribute of the business model is stronger; ④analytical thinking positively affects the value attribute of the business model.

1814 Land Finance, Two-Way Rent-Seeking and Innovation Intention of Manufacturing Enterprise
MA Hong,HOU Guisheng
This paper empirically examines the specific impact of land finance on enterprises’ innovation intention by using the empirical data of 2008~2017 years of industrial listed companies in China. The results show that: firstly, local government’s land financial dependence has a significant negative effect on the innovation intention of enterprises through the deviation of policy implementation and mismatch of resources. Secondly, bidirectional rent-seeking between enterprises and governments has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between local government’s land financial dependence and enterprise innovation intention. Third, the impact of local government’s land financial dependence on enterprises’ innovation intention is obviously different between large-scale and small-scale enterprises, high-tech enterprises and non-high-tech enterprises, and before and after the introduction of the eight rules.

1857 Dynamic Production Policy with Fixed and Convex Variable Costs and Two Demand Sources
ZHAO Ling,LIU Zhixue
Consider a single-product manufacturer facing a periodically-reviewed inventory problem. The production cost includes a fixed cost and a convex variable cost. And the demand is classified into two types, a deterministic source and a random source, where the random source can be backlogged, but the deterministic source and the backorders from the previous period must be satisfied. The manufacturer needs to decide the production level in each period and the goal is to minimize the expected total cost over a planning horizon. We develop a stochastic dynamic programming model, show some convexity of optimal value functions and apply this property to characterize the optimal production policy. From this, we find that the produce-up-to level increases in the initial inventory level when the initial inventory level is below the deterministic demand, and producing nothing is optimal when the initial inventory level is high enough. Numerical study shows that the structure of the policy is obviously different with the optimal one when the constraint that the deterministic demand must be satisfied is ignored.

1865 Duopoly Competition Strategies Considering Eco-Label Fraud under Market Supervision Environment
ZHAO Lianxia,WANG Fangqing,ZHANG Xiaofeng,YUE Chaonan,YOU Jianxin
To study the competition strategies ofordinary product company and eco-label product company with label fraud, this study constructs a simultaneous game pricing model for duopoly competition, and analyzes the impact of factors such as the level of violation, audit level, penalty for violation and consumers’ preference for eco-labels on competition strategies. The research results show that the high environmental quality cost, high regulation audit level and high penalty of label fraud can restrain companies from violating regulations, and consumers’ higher preference to the eco-labels gives companies greater incentives to choose eco-label fraud. Therefore, the regulator should increase the production access standards for eco-labeled products, expose the regulatory results to reduce opaque information, and choose effective audit level based on eco-label environmental quality cost and violation penalty to suppress violations.

1881 A Research Review on Tensions Evolution and Balance in Collaborative Workplaces:From the Institutional Perspective Lens
LIU Beini,ZHAO Haizhu,LU Qiang
Due to the tensions and contradiction in the daily behaviors and interactions of users in collaborative workplaces (CWs), its benefits often fail to materialize. The present study explored the inconsistency among prototype design, user explanation and work practice by paying attention to the social relations and reveals the tensions evolution in CWs. Adopted the literature review method, combined with the institutional theory and autonomy-control paradox, this review identified the tensions that surface in CWs research findings: flexibility vs. structure, fluidity vs. stability, and accessibility vs. privacy. When exploring the balance mechanism of tensions in CWs, the present research linked them with the institutional entrepreneurship, institutional practice and institutional complexity in the perspective of neo-institutional theory. Finally, this review concluded by suggesting some approaches to deal with tensions and improve the management efficiency in CWs.
