The Connotation and Paradigms of Paradoxical Perspective of Management
ZHOU Yu,LIU Guangjian,CHANG Xiaoxi
In order to clarify the present situation and future development direction of “paradoxical perspective” in the field of management, this study systematically summarizes the related research in this field by combining Chinese traditional culture with contradictory dialectical concepts of contemporary consciousness as well as the mainstream literature on paradoxical perspectives in Western management. The results show that the connotation of the paradox-related concepts(i.e.,duality,hybrid,dialectics,dilemma and paradox)not only have their uniqueness, but relate to each other. he main paradigm of paradox management can be divided into three types, namely, defensive, integration and transformation, and each paradigm has several corresponding empirical operation methods. s a kind of “meta-paradigm” ,paradoxical perspective is suitable for the research of China’s transitional economy, organizational management, organizational behavior and leadership, organizational innovation and change.

Platform Organization of Procurement Guiding Early Supplier Involvement in New Product Development——Single Case Study on Haier’s Procurement Organization
ZHOU Ying,JIA Fu,WANG Fei,JIANG Yan
This paper takes Haier as a case to explore how to design a platform organization of procurement to effectively guiding Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) in New Product Development (NPD). The result shows that in the era of internet, openness and capability of big data analysis, the two new dimensions should be added into the organizational design of procurement. A platform organization of procurement is put forward in this paper, with the structural characteristics and coordination characteristics summarized. And the mechanisms to guide ESI into NPD are revealed, such as modular design and procurement, interaction between global suppliers and users at zero distance. Different from lean procurement strategy in the industrial era, agile procurement strategy should be taken in the era of internet which shows the heterogeneous demand. Accordingly, we should create a platform organization of procurement with authority decentralization and centralized coordination in a dialectical unity. Shift from economies of scale to economies of process, and economies of information and learning.

Executive Stock Option Incentive,Related Non-Executive Director and Earnings Management
SONG Chang,ZHANG Jiangkai,LI Piao
Based on principal-agent theory and board governance theory, this study adopts modified Jones model to study the influence of correlated non-executive director governance on earnings management behavior in executive stock option incentive. The results show that the association of non-executive directors can effectively inhibit the earnings management before the announcement and before the first exercise of the executive stock option incentive draft.Furthermore, compared with state-owned enterprises, the non-executive directors of non-state-owned enterprises have a more significant inhibitory effect on earnings management in stock option incentive. However, the power of management will hinder the inhibition of earnings management by correlated non-executive directors, and correlated non-executive directors with financial experience have more significant inhibition of earnings management in stock option incentive.

Qualitative Comparative Analysis(QCA)in Management and Organization Research:Position,Tactics, and Directions
ZHANG Ming,DU Yunzhou
This paper attempts to provide solutions to existing problems in Qualitative comparative analysis (QCA) research from two aspects of the research approach and analysis technique. At the level of research approach, the differences between the QCA method and quantitative research method are expounded from three aspects: theoretical objectives, research questions, and realization approaches. At the level of analysis technique, the operational strategy of the whole application process (three stages) of the QCA method is expounded in detail. Finally, three directions of further optimizing the application of the QCA methods in management and organization research are proposed, which are improving transparency, adding temporality, and trying mixed methods.

The Impact of Governance Mechanisms and Interorganizational Guanxi on Extra-Role Altruistic Behavior in the Marketing Channel
WANG Yong,ZHUANG Guijun,YANG Naiding,SUN Shuwen
Based on transaction cost theory and social exchange theory, this study takes the distributor’s extra-role altruistic behavior as the study target in the marketing channel, and develops a conceptual model to describe the relationships among contract complexity, trust, interorganizational guanxi and extra-role altruistic behavior. To examine the conceptual model proposed, an empirical research was conducted by using survey data collected from marketing channel managers of distributors in household appliance industry of China, and 457 useable responses are obtained. SPSS 21.0 and multi-level regression method are used to test six hypotheses. The results show that contract complexity has an inverted-U shape relationship on the extra-role altruistic behavior and both trust and interorganizational guanxi will increase extra-role altruistic behavior. Moreover, contract complexity and trust have a negative interactive effect on extra-role altruistic behavior, thus the two types of governance mechanisms function as substitutes. Lastly, interorganizational guanxi negatively moderates the relationship between contract complexity and extra-role altruistic behavior.

A Study of the Influencial Mechanism of Supervisor Incivility on Employee Job Engagement
LIU Chang’e,HUANG Jie,XIE Wei,LIU Tingting
Based on self-enhancement theory, the research examines the extent to which perceived organizational support mediates the relationship between supervisor incivility and job engagement, and the extent to which employee traditionality moderates these relationships by collecting the data from 245 employees. The result shows supervisor incivility has a significant negative effect on job engagement, where perceived organizational support is a partial mediator between supervisor incivility and job engagement. Moreover, this study finds that employee traditionality moderates the indirect effect, and the indirect effect is stronger when employee traditionality is low.

Internationalization Process Mechanism of Chinese Multinational Enterprises under Entrepreneurial Opportunities Perspective
SHI Xuanya,DU Yifei,XUE Ming,ZHANG Yuan
Through the relevant literature review, this study constructed an analysis framework of CMNEs’ international process under the lens of entrepreneurial opportunities, and conducted a longitudinal embedded case study on Zijin Mining group. The result shows that cognitive tolerance non-equilibrium of CMNEs contributes to an entrepreneurial opportunity made in the host country, and as an entry to drive opportunity found. Secondly, continuous dynamic interaction between CMNEs and the external environment helps entrepreneurial opportunities found in the host country, and as an entry to drive opportunity made. Finally, tolerance Non-equilibrium and continuous dynamic interactions have a dual mechanism of interaction and support. The latter is active on the basis of the former precipitation, while the former grows under the support of the latter.

Knowledge Distance and Innovation Performance of Chinese Cross-Border Acquisitions
LI Hong,YE Guangyu,ZHAO Wenli
Cross-border acquisition is one of the important approaches for Chinese firms to acquire strategic assets and achieve innovation catch-up. However, previous studies have neglected the learning effect caused by knowledge distance. How does the knowledge distance between countries help Chinese companies achieve higher innovation performance? The study attempts to answer this question by combining springboard theory and the theory of corporate absorptive capacity. Through the data of cross-border acquisitions of Chinese listed companies from 2008 to 2015, the study explores the impact of knowledge distance on the innovation performance of Chinese firms’ cross-border acquisitions and the moderating role of cultural distance, experience, and R&D intensity. The study found that the knowledge distance between China countries provides Chinese firms access knowledge resources, which triggers learning effects, and helps Chinese firms to improve their innovation performance. At the same time, acquisition experience and R&D intensity play positive moderating roles between knowledge distance and innovation performance of Chinese firms’ cross-border acquisitions.

Study on the Impact of Regulatory Focus of Entrepreneur and Attention Allocation on Entrepreneurial Strategic Decision-Making
JIANG Shiyao,LI Yanni,LI Guiquan
From the perspectives of the regulatory focus theory and the attention-based view, this study explores the influence mechanism of entrepreneurs’dominant regulatory focus, secondary regulatory focus and attention allocation on entrepreneurial strategic decision-making by experimental research. Through three groups of experimental studies, it is found that:①Entrepreneurs with dominant promotion focus tend to choose exploration entrepreneurial strategy and high-intensity entrepreneurship strategy implementation, while entrepreneurs with the dominant prevention focus tend to choose the exploitation entrepreneurship strategy and the low-intensity entrepreneurship strategy implementation.②The attention allocation partially mediates the effect of the dominant regulatory focus on the decision-making of entrepreneurship strategy.③The secondary regulatory focus has a moderation effect of the dominant regulatory focus and entrepreneurship strategy implementation.

Calculation of Innovation Efficiency and Its Temporal and Spatial Differentiation Characteristics of the Yangtze River Economic Belt Based on Three-Stage DEA
LUO Ying,LUO Chuanjian,PENG Jiachao
The three-stage DEA method is used to analyze the change of regional innovation efficiency in the Yangtze River economic zone from 2001 to 2016,and the spatial aggregation of innovation efficiency in 11 provinces or cities and reaches of Yangtze River is compared. The results show that the average innovation efficiency of the Yangtze River Economic Belt increased from 0.956 to 0.967,but none of them achieved effective DEA; the results of the first stage and the third stage show that innovation efficiency and time difference in 11 provinces or cities are larger; according to the upper, middle and lower reaches of the regional division, the third stage of the maximum value of the Yangtze River appears in the lower reaches, and the smallest value is in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River region. The first stage of the measured value is the Yangtze River. The proportion of the R&D expenditure in the main business income to the innovation efficiency is higher than that of the per capita area, and the fiscal and technological expenditure is the most significant difference between the environmental efficiency and the environmental efficiency. The proportion of local financial expenditure and the influence of market structure on the relaxation of input variables.

Research on Network Position Formation and Transition Path Based on Network Capability and Isolation Mechanisms
ZHANG Lu,HOU Xueru,SONG Hua,CHANG Qing,ZHANG Qiang
This paper explores the relationship among network position, isolation mechanisms and network capability, and reveals the formation mechanism and evolution path of network position under network pressure. It is found that when there is a “mismatch” state between network position and network pressure, the original location resources cannot meet the need of solving the network pressure. Through the process of repeated cycle of “mismatch—readaptation”, enterprises have realized the evolution trend of the network location of “single relational network position—platform R&D network position—cross-industry network position”.Isolation mechanism and network capability are the key coupling forces for the formation of stage network location. The direct relationship, the resource source, network scale, information and control advantages generated by the interaction of isolation mechanisms and network capability are the key internal factors to form the network position, among which the direct relationship is the core element, and the change of direct relationship affects the formation of different types of network positions.
