We review the literature, point out research hypothesis and choose 52 areas’ manufacturing enterprises in China as sample to analyze the extent to which area effects explain the variation in the performance of company and how area resource, industry factor, soft environment and area brand influence enterprise performance of manufacturing enterprise in our country. We find that, the enterprises in different areas have different performance and the area’s resource, demand, industry centralization and the environment have different impacts on ROS,ROA and ROE.
