Abstract:In the open network environment, external organizational integration(EOI) is a key factor in promoting innovation and improving its performance. This paper constructs a moderated mediation model to explain how EOI affects new service development performance(NSDP), explores the micro-mechanism how information sharing, relational coordination and co-participation affect NSDP by knowledge acquisition (KA). Based on a survey data from 247 service firms, the empirical findings show that information sharing, relational coordination and co-participation have significantly positive effects on NSDP; KA plays a partial mediation role in the relationship between organizational integration and NSDP. In addition, absorptive capacity(AC) positively moderates the relationship between KA and NSDP, and also enhances the mediation effects of KA, that is ,there exists a moderated mediation.
