Effect of animation short video combined with flipped classroom on autonomous learning ability of nursing students in emergency department

Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of animation short video combined with flipped classroom on autonomous learning ability, graduation performance, internship satisfaction and learning effect of nursing students in emergency department. Methods Totally 84 nursing students were selected by convenient sampling and divided into control group and intervention group with 42 students in each group according to the practice time. The control group adopted traditional teaching method, and the intervention group the animation short video combined with flipped classroom. The autonomous learning ability, graduation performance, internship satisfaction and learning effect of the two groups were compared. Results Better autonomous learning ability, higher graduation score, improved internship satisfaction and learning effect were observed in the intervention group, indicating significantly statistical difference (all P<0.05). Conclusion Animation short video combined with flipped classroom in the nursing teaching of emergency department can effectively improve the autonomous learning ability and learning effect of nursing interns, and garner the recognition of the students.
