Abstract: Objective To construct a step-up nutrition management program for elderly people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and to provide systematic and standardized nursing intervention for elderly people with MCI. Methods We searched step-up nutrition management programs for elderly people with MCI and nursing evidence to obtain the best evidence and the initial nutrition management program was constructed. Two rounds of consultation were conducted in 21 experts using Delphi method. The final step-up nutrition program for elderly people with MCI was constructed based on expert opinions and clinical practice. Results Expert authority coefficient of the two-round consultation was 0.86; the Kendall’s W coefficient was 0.14 to 0.13, respectively, showing statistical significance (P<0.05). The final program consisted of 5 first-level, 10 second-level, and 34 third-level items. Conclusion The constructed step-up nutrition management program for elderly people with MCI is scientific and practical.
