1 Research on the Entrepreneur’s Core Competency Based on Zhagen Paradigm
JIA Xudong,XIE Zhiwen
Adopting the qualitative research procedures and methods of the “the Chinese Management Zhagen Research Paradigm”, based on a longitudinal case study of She Yuyuan, the originator of the MG mask, and through the comparison with second-hand data of 31 other outstanding Chinese entrepreneurs, the intrinsic traits of entrepreneurial competencies were researched. The study proposed the concept of Entrepreneur’s Core Competency and found that the Entrepreneur’s Core Competency is composed of five dimensions: the power of insight, the power of will, the power of tolerance, the power of introspection and the power of value. Based on the functions of these five dimensions, the “Missile Model of Entrepreneur’s Core Competency” was constructed and then the functional path of Entrepreneur’s Core Competency was analyzed in depth. The relationship among the Entrepreneur’s Core Competency, competency model and entrepreneurship was further discussed. This research theoretically identified the source of entrepreneurial competencies and established the theoretical foundation for the research of the Entrepreneur’s Core Competency.

14 The Specific Mechanism, Driving Logic and Suitable Environment of Contractual Governance and Relational Governance——A Case Study of Inter-Generational Change of Governance Models in Family Enterprise
WU Jiong,HU Yuheng
Based on the governance practices of two-family enterprises that underwent sudden inter-generational succession, this study adopts a cross-case study approach to explore the governance model ’s specific mechanism, driving logic, and suitable environment. The study shows that, contractual governance includes supervision mechanism, incentive mechanism, and balance mechanism; trust mechanism, authority mechanism, and mental model mechanism constitute relational governance. The driving logic of contractual governance and relational governance are studied at the levels of systemic order and goal criteria, respectively. Specifically, contractual governance is driven by individual orientation and conflict resolution, while relational governance is nurtured by collective orientation and conflict avoidance. Besides, individual motivation, legitimacy environment, and family concept jointly affect the choice of family business governance model.

26 Conduction Mechanism of Atypical Pressure in the Context of Campaign Governance: A Case Study of the Central Eco-Environmental Protection Inspection
MA Jieqiong,ZHAO Haifeng
Taking province Z under the first round of central eco-environmental protection inspection as an example, a case study containing embedded analysis units is designed, and the basic research framework of “pressure generation-transmission-action effect “is used to explore the atypical pressure transmission law in the context of sports governance. The study found that the atypical pressure mainly comes from the combined effect of public opinion pressure, time pressure, regulatory pressure, problem pressure and personal pressure ,goes through the four steps of “generation-compaction-differentiation-resolution”. Atypical pressure can basically achieve effective transmission, but we did not observe the “pressure deterrent effect”, and the pressure effect gradually decreases after reaching a peak. The realization of the pressure effect requires the pressure to be strong and continuous.

37 Impact of R&D Transition Speed on Firm Growth
MA Haiyan,LI Yuanhang,TIAN Rui
This study focuses on the transition speed of exploration and exploitation in the R&D context from a temporal view. Combining punctuated equilibrium theory and organizational ambidexterity theory, the study analyzes the impact of drastic transition and incremental transition of R&D on firm growth and the moderating effect of slack resources. Based on the FGLS regression test on the data from A-share Chinese listed companies from 2007 to 2018, the results show that, R&D transition positively promotes firm growth generally, which means that R&D transition is an effective way for firms to timely switch technology track and maintain competitive advantages. In detail, a drastic transition is helpful to qualitative growth, but it will damage the quantity growth. A gradual transition is a better strategy in regular situation as it promotes both quantitative and qualitative growth. Slack resources have a positive moderating effect on the relationship between R&D transition and firm growth. Its buffering and boosting effect are greater than the efficiency loss caused by the management agency.

47 Research on Mechanism of Cross-Border Diverse Selection on Individual Creativity
ZHAO Fuqiang,HU Wei1,CHEN Yun,WANG Longdong
Based on the theory of resource conservation, this study defined the connotation of cross-border diverse selection, explored the mechanism of its effect on individual creativity through the mediation of job crafting, and investigated the boundary condition role of proof goal orientation through the multi-time point tracking of 1048 effective samples from all over the country. According to the positive analysis, this study got the following conclusions. Firstly, cross-border diverse selection has a significant positive impact on individual creativity. Secondly, job crafting has a partial intermediary role between cross-border diverse selection and individual creativity. Thirdly, proof goal orientation negatively moderates the direct impact of cross-border diverse selection on job crafting and individual creativity. The higher the level of proof goal orientation, the weaker the direct effect of cross-border diverse selection on job crafting and individual creativity. Finally, proof goal orientation negatively moderates the indirect effect of cross-border diverse selection on individual creativity through job crafting. The higher the level of proof goal orientation, the weaker the indirect effect of cross-border diverse selection on individual creativity through job crafting.

66 The Paradoxical Effect of Supervisor-Subordinate Guanxi on Work Well-Being
FU Bo,LIANG Xiaojie,YANG Mengxi
Based on the conservation of resource theory and the job demands-resources model, the “double-edged sword” model of SSG on subordinates’ work well-being was proposed by selecting the leader resources reward as the positive mediator and the workload as the negative mediator. This model was tested by collecting data from 378 subordinate employees at three points in time. The results of the study showed that SSG would increase subordinates’ work well-being by leader resources reward, and also decrease subordinates’ work well-being by increasing workload. Furthermore, workload amplified the positive mediating effect of leader resources reward, while the leader resources reward buffered the negative mediating effect of workload.

86 Multi-Agent Synergy Mechanism of Digital Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
ZHU Xiumei,YANG Shan
Based on the synergy theory, this study carried out a single case study on the issue of multi-agent synergy mechanism of digital entrepreneurship ecosystem. Taking Tencent’s digital entrepreneurship ecosystem as the research object, this study extracted the five major multi-agent synergy mechanisms of the digital entrepreneurship ecosystem through case coding analysis, which included digital entrepreneurial network embedded mechanism, digital entrepreneurial element aggregation mechanism, digital entrepreneurial opportunity symbiosis mechanism, digital value co-creation mechanism, and system self-organization mechanism. And, we analyzed the dynamic evolution patterns of the five major mechanisms. On this basis, we further constructed the dynamic evolution model of multi-agent synergy mechanism, to analyze the internal logic of the multi-agent synergy dynamic evolution from the four stages of synergy embedding, aggregation, symbiosis and evolution.

96 Research on the Impact of the Board Hierarchy Consistency on Enterprises Innovation Efficiency
WANG Zemin,LONG Jing,ZHANG Jichang
Based on the conservation of resources theory, this study empirically evaluates the impact of the board hierarchy consistency on enterprises’ innovation efficiency by taking the second-board non-financial listed companies from 2009 to 2019 as the samples. The empirical study shows that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between the board hierarchy consistency and enterprises innovation efficiency. This relationship will be affected by the two key resources, energy and conditions. That is, the improvement of ownership concentration and tenure heterogeneity will weaken the inverted U-shaped relationship, while different resource types and different performance of director groups in the crossover process will flip the inverted U-shaped curve. Although the inverted U-shaped moderating effect of career background similarity is not supported, the resource caravans phenomenon between career background and tenure also shows the same moderating effect as tenure heterogeneity.

106 The Effect of Traceability Practice on Food Firm Sustainability Performance
ZHOU Xiongyong,XU Zhiduan
Drawing on the dynamic capability theory, this study develops a hybrid conceptual model and explores the impact of traceability practice on a firm’s sustainability performance while examining the mediating role of dynamic capabilities as well as the moderating effect exerted by market dynamics. A questionnaire survey method is used to investigate 347 food firms in four traceability system construction demonstration areas. This study then uses hierarchical regression and mixed model test methods to verify the impact mechanism and boundary conditions of traceability practice on firm’s sustainability performance. The empirical results show that: firstly, traceability practice has a significantly positive effect on firm sustainability performance; secondly, dynamic capabilities have partial mediation effects on the relationship between traceability practice and sustainability performance; thirdly, market dynamics does not play a moderating role in the direct path of the impact of traceability practice on firm sustainability performance, but plays a moderating role in the first half and second half of the path of mediating effect.

116 Differential Game Study of Green Supply Chain Based on Green Technology Innovation and Manufacturer Competition
LIU Li,HAN Tongyin,JIN Hao
By introducing the innovation process of green technology, this study constructs a green supply chain composed of a single shared supplier and two manufacturers, and uses a stochastic stopping model to describe the impact of green technology innovation on green R&D investment decisions. Based on the differential game, the green R&D investment decisions and coordination of supply chain are researched. The results show that: a higher probability of success of technological innovation and a higher rate of greenness improvement can motivate enterprises to increase green R&D investment before successful technological innovation, and then improve product greenness. The impact of green technology innovation on manufacturers’ green R&D investment is related to the intensity of green competition. The bidirectional cost-sharing contract can coordinate the supply chain, in which the share ratio of the shared supplier to the manufacturers’ green R&D input cost is negatively correlated with the intensity of green competition, and the sum of the share ratio of the two manufacturers to the shared supplier’ s green R&D input cost is determined.

127 Study on the Governance Mechanism of Key Subordinate Executives to CEO Earnings Management
WU Fan,KUANG Xuewen,LI Jianhong,LUO Xiaomeng
Based on the heterogeneity of preferences within the top management team, from a farsighted perspective of the interests of key subordinate executives, this study investigates the governance mechanism of key subordinate executives’ bottom-up internal governance on CEO’s real earnings management. The empirical study finds that the governance of key subordinate executives not only has a significant inhibiting effect on CEO’s earnings management, but also shows the Confucian spirit of “Should Do and Should Not”. When the CEO conducts downward earnings management, the key subordinate executives will selectively ignore it. When the external governance mechanism of the top management team fails, the key subordinate executives will conduct supplementary governance on the CEO’s earnings management. In addition, corporate business complexity and resource dispersion, as well as R&D investment and related transactions play a moderating mechanism and mediating mechanism role in the governance of key subordinate executives on CEO earnings management, respectively.

137 Research on the Relationship Between Overcapacity and Shareholder Social Network and Corporate Earnings Management
LUO Dongliang,DOU Baoqi
Taking the listed companies in China’s industrial sector from 2010 to 2019 as a sample, using the data envelopment method, this study researches the relationship between excess capacity and earnings management, and its countermeasures. The results show that: Firstly, overcapacity affects the profitability of enterprises and promotes earnings management; the shareholder social network brings information, resources, reputation, governance and other advantages to enterprises, which suppresses the positive relationship between overcapacity and earnings management. Secondly, overcapacity leads to increased investment in fixed asset and a lower level of disposable cash flow, thus increasing the earnings management of enterprises. Thirdly, when the external macro policy is more optimal, when the enterprises’ R&D expenditure is higher or the profitability is lower, and when the largest shareholder shareholding ratio is lower or the senior executive shareholding ratio is lower, the social network of shareholders will produce more inhibitory effect and weaken the positive impact of overcapacity on earnings management.

149 A Review of Antecedents and Consequences of Moral Courage in the Workplace
JIANG Fubin,WANG Zhen
Moral courage refers to the courage or inner strength that an individual has when acting in accordance with moral principles and his/her own beliefs and values even if he/she takes the risk of bringing negative consequences to himself/herself in a moral conflict. Based on the review of previous researches, this study clarifies the definition, measurement, theoretical perspectives, and antecedents (individual and contextual factors) and consequences (intra- and inter-person consequences) of moral courage in the workplace. On this basis, the article points out that an integrated theoretical framework of moral courage should be proposed in the future, the unique connotation of moral courage in Chinese context should be explored, the factors that promote the transformation of moral courage into moral courage behavior should be explored, and the influences of moral courage on interpersonal interactions.
