Distributed Wake-up: Supply Chain Recovery Mechanism under Major Public Health Emergencies
YANG Yang,ZOU Mingyang,XIE Guoqiang,LI Zhongqiu,NI Wenbin
In order to explore the supply chain recovery mechanism under sudden public health events, this study takes the government’s policy on resumption of work in the epidemic as the data, uses a grounded theory method to identify the key influencing factors and the characteristics of the situational characteristics, and builds a theoretical framework of the interaction between government policies and enterprise about resumption of work. The results show that: It is necessary to carry out overall recovery from the perspective of the whole situation to promote comprehensive awakening of the supply chain; Distribution and step-by-step wake-ups can be used to achieve full supply chain recovery. On the basis of overall planning, a variety of factors can be comprehensively considered to identify and awaken key enterprises, and gradually awaken the entire supply chain through the key enterprises. The advantage of this model is that it can ensure the dynamics of the supply chain recovery process to adapt to changing epidemics.

Research on the Effects of Political Connections on the Economic Performance of Private Enterprises in China
HE Xiaobin,LIU Jiankun
This study distinguishes the individual and organizational levels of political connections based on the political co-option and organizational embeddedness strategies adopted by the ruling party for the private enterprises in China; and empirically examines the effects of the two connections on firm performance. The analysis of the 13th national Chinese Private Enterprise Survey (CPES) data in 2018 reveals that: (1) the establishment of Party organizations can significantly improve the economic performance of private enterprises, and this effect is stronger than that of political status; (2) the establishment of Party organizations and political status can both facilitate resource acquirement of private enterprises, and the organizational political connection has a stronger effect; (3) resource acquisition is an effective way for Party organizations toimprove private enterprises’ performance. This study suggests that Party organization as a political connection has a positive effect on the sustainable growth of private enterprises, implying the importance of Party building in private enterprises in China.

The Inverted U-Shaped Relationship between Performance below the Aspiration Level and Corporate Environmental Strategy
WU Jianzu,YUAN Haichun
Drawing on the behavioral theory of the firm, prospect theory, and threat rigidity hypothesis, taking the Chinese manufacturing listed companies from 2010 to 2017 as samples, we investigate the inverted U-shaped relationship between performance below the aspiration level and corporate environmental strategy. In order to respond to market concerns, shift media attention and seek stakeholders’ support, firms with the performance below the aspiration level invest more in environment protection to acquire green transformation, which is the advance effect. At the same time, under pressure from capital markets, resource constraints and survival threats, firms with the performance below the aspiration level decrease environmental investment to reduce the costs, which is the retreat effect. When the performance below the aspiration level is small, the advance effect suppresses the retreat effect; while when it is large, the retreat effect defeats the advance effect.

CEO’s Internet Industrial Experience and Platform Firms’ Strategic Change Embedded in Individual-Organizational Contingency
CHEN Shuangying,FU Feng,LI Qiyue
Based on the characteristics of platform firms and experiential learning theory, using the panel data from listed Chinese platform firms, this study explored how CEO’s Internet industrial experience influences strategic change and the jointed moderating effect embedded in individual-organizational contingency by fixed effect model. The empirical study found that CEO’s internet industrial experience had the positive effect on platform firms strategic change, and CEO’s managerial discretion strengthened the positive effect. When platform firms were belonging to the start-up stage, or facing the higher level of market uncertainty, the positive moderating effect became weaker. And when platform firms brought higher performance, the positive moderating effect became stronger.

Grounded Research on the Multiple Driving Paths of Organizational Ownership Behavior under the Guidance of Virtue Ethics
YUE Lei,CHAO Gang,WANG Lei,CHANG Saichao
There are complex and diverse driving paths for organizational ownership behavior. Through procedural grounded research on three traditional culture oriented companies, it is proposed that under the background of the generalization of “family culture”, there are multiple paths that drives employee organizational ownership including the dominant path of conscience consciousness guided by individual virtue and two secondary paths of interest achievement and relationship identification. Through the analysis of the internal primary and secondary relationship of the multiple paths, the main role of individual virtue factors in the formation of organizational ownership behavior is highlighted.

The Impact of Asymmetry of In-Outbound Open Innovation on the Invulnerability of Industrial Innovation Network
LI Li,LIN Haifen,CHENG Lu,LYU Yibo
Focusing on the level of innovation network, this study explores the effect of the asymmetry and network invulnerability of in-outbound open innovation on the network invulnerability from the perspective of innovation openness, and investigates the moderating effect of intra-cluster cohesiveness. Using the hierarchical regression method, The empirical analysis of 138 patent citation networks in the field of new energy industry shows that the asymmetry of the breadth and depth of the in-outbound open innovation has a negative impact on innovation network invulnerability. Second, the asymmetry of in-outbound open innovation also negatively affects innovation network invulnerability. Third, the cohesiveness of technology clusters plays a negative moderating role in the relationship between the asymmetry of innovation breadth/depth of the in-outbound open innovation and network invulnerability.

Market Concern, Governance Effectiveness and Market Response to Social Responsibility Information Disclosure
QI Yue,LIAO Kezhi,WANG Zhihao
This study takes the listed companies that issued social responsibility reports from 2010 to 2017 as the research object. On the basis of controlling the quality of disclosure and financial characteristics of companies, it empirically analyzes the heterogeneous factors and mechanism of signaling effect at the micro level from two dimensions of market concern and governance effectiveness. The results show that: ①The effectiveness of internal control has a positive impact on the market reaction of social responsibility information disclosure, and is more prominent in the low governance cost group and state-owned enterprise group. ②There is a significant positive correlation between market attention and market reaction. Listed companies with high media attention can get more recognition from the capital market by issuing social responsibility reports. At the same time, the first disclosure reports tend to attract investors’ attention. ③In the absence of a unified quantitative criterion for disclosure, the content of value information released by social responsibility reports has little to do with the quality of social responsibility information disclosure.

XU Wei,YANG Yucheng,LI Yongfa
Based on the data collecting from 362 related consumers of China Time-honored Brand in Anhui Province, this study explores the critical configurations of brand innovations that affect brand equity and analyzes the combined and interaction effects of these brand innovations by the method of fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA). The results show that the realization of high brand equity is mainly achieved through two different paths with the same goal centered on market innovation and product innovation respectively. Furthermore, market innovation plays a key role in the promotion of established brand equity, and the perfecting business model innovation plays a ‘healthy’ role. Hence, this study proposes three types of brand development models including aggressive market development, prudent product innovation, and conservative business model innovation.

Hybrid Sales Channel Decision Model Considering Consumer Preference
NI Xiao,CHENG Haifang,LIU Cong
Considering the consumers preference for E-commerce platform brand value and manufacturer’s product quality, this study constructs a hybrid sales channel decision model which consists of a platform provider and a manufacturer who has entered in the platform. The theoretical proof and numerical simulations are used to compare and analyze the quality conditions for manufacturers to enter the platform under different power structures, the decision-making results of both parties before and after the manufacturer enters the platform, and the impact of different power structures on the decision-making results of both parties after entering the platform. The results show that the manufacturer is willing to accept the quality conditions proposed by the platform provider when the product quality cost coefficient is less than the shared brand value after entering the platform, and the quality conditions proposed by the platform provider are higher under the situation of the platform provider dominating and the power balance. The price, demand and profit of the products of both sides will be improved after the manufacturers enter into the platform, where the range of improvement is influenced by the power structure, product quality coefficient and platform brand value.

The Effect of Expert Wages and Service Optimization on Service Policy When Providing Remedial Service
LI Wuqiang,LIU Dezhi,XU Xiaoqing
In order to enhance customers’trust in the quality of face-to-face expert service, many service providers have proposed free re-service schemes for their service failure, but this will increase the system load and waiting time; while hiring high ability experts can improve the probability of service success, it faces the challenge of paying a higher wages. In view of the above problems, two service recovery schemes such as providing one time (scheme 1) and unlimited times (scheme 2) re-service are studied based on the queuing theory, and the results show that:①the optimal price and expected waiting time of scheme 2 are more stable;②when the potential demand is low, both schemes will select a higher ability expert as the potential demand increasing; when the potential demand is large enough, the requirements of the two schemes for the expert’s ability are the same, and the service providers’revenues are equal; ③service optimization can reduce wages expenditure when potential demand is small and increase effective demand when potential demand is high enough.
