Abstract:This study used the method of experimental design to study 320 experimental subjects, explored the mechanism of individual regulatory focus on entrepreneurial intention, and analyzed the moderating effect of contextual variables such as the degree of marketization and social network in the relationship between them. The results show that: ①Promotion focus individuals tend to choose business entrepreneurship, while prevention focus individuals tend to choose social entrepreneurship. ②The degree of marketization and social network play moderating roles in the relationship between them. Among them, the high degree of marketization promotes stronger business entrepreneurship intention of promotion focus individuals, while the low degree of marketization promotes stronger social entrepreneurship intention of prevention focus individuals.③The strong social network promotes stronger business entrepreneurship intention of promotion focus individuals, and at the same time promotes stronger social entrepreneurship intention of prevention focus individuals.
