Internal Mechanism of Business Model Innovation of Time-Honored Enterprises from the Perspective of Dual Innovation——Based on a Longitudinal Case Study of Dezhou Braised Chicken

Abstract：This study selects the Chinese time-honored company Dezhou Braised Chicken Company as the object, and conducts in-depth exploration of the successful law of its business model innovation. From the perspective of dual innovation theory, 8 theoretical dimensions are summarized, including time-honored dual context, discovery of inheritance value, identification of innovation resistance, stabilize the foundation of inheritance, breakthrough of innovation barriers, realization of perfect innovation, realization of pioneering innovation, and maintenance of dual balance. Based on these dimensions, it describes the three-stage model of the business model innovation of time-honored enterprises, and systematically summarizes the successful experience of time-honored enterprises in effectively resolving the paradox of inheritance and innovation through business model innovation.
