In discussing management and culture, whether or not culture influences management should not be involved; how culture influences management practices and how culture elements are considered in management theories should be studied. For management theories, culture is not only very important to management practices, but also is the basis of building local management knowledge systems. Depending on different culture modes, there are three approaches to management in our country: the researches on how management is used in China, the ones on Chinese-style management and the ones on universal management. From the necessity of the management practices in China, it is most urgent to study Chinese-style management. There being Chinese-style management indeed, it should be an important field for our researchers.
