Conceptual model proposed by Global Entrepreneurship Monitor and the regional data derived from Chinese GEM report in 2005 were considered.   The relationships of the nine factors of the entrepreneurial environment with the entrepreneurial opportunities and capacity in Chinese typical regions were empirically studied by using factor analysis of principal components and multiple linear regression.  The differences is pointed out, by which  the environmental factors  influenced the entrepreneurial opportunities, skills and motivation in our typical regions differntly.
