Combining several papers recently published in Chinese Journal of Management (CJM) and the key reflective/critical papers in Management and Organization Review, this paper firstly argues that CJM's policy has a crucial influence on Chinese management scientific community, then offers a deep discussion on some issues concerning how to realize Chinese Context, the need to develop new theories, 'is and ought to' problem in academic research and the relation between organizational management and culture. Finally, this paper shares several viewpoints on research localization of harmonious management.
