An Empirical Research of TopLevel Leader’s Psychological Capital and Social
Capital on Corporate Performance: The Mediating Role of RiskTaking Behavior
Abstract:Based on the 968 samples of corporate toplevel leaders,an empirical research is conducted to test the influence of the toplevel leader’s psychological capital and social capital on corporate performance, and the mediating effect of risktaking behavior. The empirical result shows that: toplevel leader’s psychological capital and social capital both have significant positive relationship with risktaking behavior and corporate performance; toplevel leader’s risktaking behavior has a direct significant relation with corporate performance; and it acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between psychological capital, social capital and corporate performance. In other words, toplevel leader’s psychological capital and social capital have indirect impact on corporate performance.
