This paper examines the moderating effect of the Only Children in 1980s in China, initially analyzing the difference between the onechild and the nononechild employees’ attitude and behavior. Results showed that the onechild employees have higher education, pretax income and turnover intention. Besides, regression results revealed that the Only Children moderates the negative influence of personjob fit and job satisfaction on turnover intention in such a way that the negative relationship is stronger for the onlychild employees rather than nononlychild employees.
