Abstract：The management practice of Chinese enterprises put forward the necessity to review the fundamental questions on management, which can draw on Peter F. Drucker’s classical works on management. These classical works correctly identify the essential issues and simplify and conceptualize those complicated fundamental questions. The practical management thoughts elaborated in Drucker’s classical works lead both practice and research on the way to the essential of management and business (i.e. creating customers, being effective and innovation), adding great value to Chinese enterprises. When Drucker’s thoughts lead Chinese management practice, it would be recognized that it is practice that has more significance than mission.
