The evolution model of industrial cluster networks is constructed based on trust and cooperation game, and the knowledge transfer model is also constructed. Based on the models, this paper analyzes the characteristics of knowledge transfer in the evolution of underembedded arm’slength industrial cluster networks, integrated industrial cluster networks and overembedded industrial cluster networks. Simulations show that, in the process of these three industrial cluster network evolution, the rate of knowledge growth is largest in the underembedded arm’slength industrial cluster networks, while it is smallest in the overembedded industrial cluster networks, and it is also reducing over time; the rate of knowledge growth can be improved by expanding the network size of industrial clusters, improving the absorptive capacity of knowledge and knowledge transfer rate. However, when the knowledge transfer rate is small, the increase of knowledge growth rate became apparent only by a substantial increase of knowledge transfer rate.
