Abstract: Objective To understand the social integration dilemma of elderly migrants living in the community and its influencing factors, and to provide reference for developing prevention and support measures. Methods From September to December 2021, a stratified sampling method was used to divide 17 districts in Beijing into three levels based on their comprehensive strength ranking: high, medium, and low. Then, a random number table method was used to select 9 districts in Beijing. Finally, a convenient sampling method was used to select 854 elderly people aged 60 and above from the 9 districts. They were investigated by using general information questionnaire, Social Integration Dilemma Questionnaire, Quality of Life Scale and Interpersonal Well-being Scale. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of the social integration dilemma of the elderly. Results The total score of social integration was 141.41±34.85. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that nature of household registration, marital status, length of migration, frequency of communication with children, residential area heterogeneity, interpersonal well-being and physical and mental health entered the regression equation(all P<0.05), accounting for 79.2% of the total variation. Conclusion Elderly migrants experienced severe social integration dilemma influenced by various factors. Corresponding measures should be taken to improve the integration dilemma and maintain physical and mental health of elderly migrants.
