Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of grid training on the collection of respiratory tract specimens from COVID-19 patients. Methods The hospital was divided into 6 grids and a training teacher and a tutor were responsible for each grid. Grid training was conducted through the establishment of grid training theory system, training exchange group and one-to-one field feedback. The training effect was assessed by online theory test and feedback. Results A total of 213 anti-epidemic nurses received the train and qualification rate of theoretical test reached 100%. The trainees thought highly of the training. Conclusion Grid training on the collection of respiratory tract specimens can not only improve the protection awareness of the frontline nurses, but also standardize the collection of respiratory tract specimens, and it provides reference for clinical training model.
