Infection Prevention and Control in Living Area of Medical Team Supporting Hubei for Fighting COVID-19

Abstract: Objective To summarize the experience of infection prevention and control in the living area of a medical team supporting Hubei for fighting COVID-19. Methods After the analysis of basic situation of the living area of certain medical team supporting Hubei for fighting COVID-19, the infection prevention and control measures of "zero dead corner" were put forward from the aspects of personal accommodation management, personnel management and camp management, then the implementation effect was evaluated. Results During the mission period, there was no case of COVID-19 infection in medical team members, and personal physical and mental health of team members was in good condition, which ensured the smooth development of medical work for epidemic prevention. Conclusion The effective and standardized infection prevention and control measures in living area during epidemic outbreak play a positive role in the smooth development of medical work and the realization of the goal of "zero infection".
