Abstract: Objective To investigate the status of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of nurses and to explore its influence factors. Methods A total of 206 nurses in two tertiary grade A hospitals in Tianjin were selected from January to March 2019 and surveyed by using a general information questionnaire, Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale, Hospital Ethical Climate Survey and Core Nursing Professional Value Scale. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted for analyzing the influence factors. Results The score of OCB of 206 nurses was 101.19±10.33. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that four factors of professional practice, relationship between managers, relationship between nurses, and marital status entered into the multiple regression equation(P<0.05), explaining 59.2% of the total variation. Conclusion Nurses' OCB was at a high level. Professional practice, relationship with managers, relationship with nurses, and marital status are the main influencing factors. Emphasis should be placed on more communication between hospital administrators and nurses, harmonious relationship among nurses, and the marital status of nurses. For those married, more tolerance and care will benefit helping them keep the balance between family and work, and focus on professional practice so as to promote OCB.
