Abstract：The constructs of institutional distance（ID）have been used in the field of MNE’s internationalization since 1990s, and there witnesses tons of research accomplishments. However, with the purpose of scientifically systemizing the research of ID constructs, this study applies scientometric research method for analyzing 1047 articles of WOS. Based on it, this paper builds up a model from the dimensions of theory background, theory constructs and research themes. And this model provides the further researches with a systematic structure, with which Chinese scholars could use to analyze Chinese firms’ internationalization issues in the background of “new normal” economy.
