Construction of competency-based robotic-assisted procedure training program for nurses in operating room

Abstract: Objective To construct a scientific and practical robotic-assisted procedure training program for nurses in operating room. Methods A competency-based robotic-assisted procedure training program for nurses in operating room was preliminarily formulated after literature review and group discussion. Two rounds of expert consultation were conducted in 25 experts using Delphi method. Results The positive coefficient of the two rounds of expert inquiry in this study was 100%, and the authoritative coefficient 0.932 and 0.942, respectively. The constructed robotic-assisted procedure training program for nurses in operating room consisted of 4 first-level indexes of entry criteria, training content, training methods, and evaluation, including 17 second-level and 65 third-level indexes. Conclusion Being scientific and reliable, the robotic-assisted procedure training program could provide reference for nursing training in operating room.
