This paper tries to combinethe Chinese traditional and reality systemto discuss the practical value to the macro situation and effect of local management knowledge by a historical perspective, based on “local knowledge: the freedom to the academic autonomy” which waspublishedin the fourth volume of “China Journal of Management” in 2010. This paper argues that the historical cultural of Chinese which is formed in thousands of years, the resource mobilization mechanism which iscreated by CPC for more than 80 years and the reform and openingup which has last for 30 years, have compounded to be not only the main body of local management knowledge in China, but also the most important object and content to be researched and discussed for the Chinesemanagement scholars.
