Abstract: Based on the social cognitive theory, this study examines the impacts of market resource environment and institution regulation environment on individual’s entrepreneurial
intention, and the moderating role of entrepreneurial selfefficacy. Based on 384 valid questionnaires, the results show that both abundant market resource environment and abundant
institution regulation environment have significant impact on individual entrepreneurial intention. Besides, it confirms the positive moderating effect of entrepreneurial selfefficacy on
relationship between institution regulation environment and entrepreneurial intention, but the moderating effect of entrepreneurial selfefficacy on relationship between market resource
environment and entrepreneurial intention is negative.
