Construction of multi-level training path for candidates of master of nursing specialist: a healthy aging perspective

Abstract: Objective To construct a multi-level training pathway for candidates of master of nursing specialist (MNS) from the perspective of healthy aging, and to provide reference for MNS training programs. Methods Guided by the “Development Plan for Professional Degree Postgraduate Education (2020-2025)”, a draft training pathway was formulated after literature review and semi-structured interviews. Two rounds of Delphi consultation were conducted with 16 experts from April to June 2021. Results The response rate of expert consultation was 100% and 75%; authority coefficient of experts 0.820 and 0.857, and Kendall's W 0.393 and 0.195, respectively in two rounds of consultation (P<0.01). The final multi-level training pathway for MNS candidates consisted of 3 first-level indicators, 11 second-level indicators, and 25 third-level indicators. Conclusion The multi-level training pathway constructed in this study is scientific and reliable, providing a valuable reference for the cultivation of MNS candidates.
