Abstract: Objective To explore the interdisciplinary development mode of nursing-law in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, and to provide insights for constructing a nursing-law interdisciplinary development mode in China. Methods The literature regarding nursing-law interdisciplinary development mode in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia was searched, and the operation mode and effect of the nursing-law interdisciplinary practice in foreign countries were summarized. Based on the basic reality in China, suggestions were proposed for building a nursing-law interdisciplinary development mode in China. Results The nursing-law interdisciplinary development mode plays an important role in reducing medical costs, promoting health, and enhancing the policy influence of the nursing profession through the integration of nursing services and legal services. Conclusion When establishing nursing-law interdisciplinary development mode in China, it is necessary to start with establishing a nursing-law professional community, setting up cross professional cooperation guidelines, and constructing a nursing-law interdisciplinary mechanism with Chinese characteristics.
