Effect of Videoblog in Teaching of Operating Room Nursing

Abstract: Objective To explore the application value of Videoblog (Vlog) in the teaching of operating room nursing. Methods From August 2019 to July 2020, 40 nursing students in the department of anesthesiology & operating room were selected as experimental group and standardized nursing teaching with Vblog was conducted in this group. Another 45 nursing students from August 2018 to July 2019 were selected as control group, and conventional nursing teaching was conducted. After the teaching was completed, theoretical score, skill operation score, total score and ratio of excellence of nursing students in the two groups were compared to evaluate the teaching quality. Results Theoretical score, skill operation score and the total score in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, indicating statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion With flexible teaching and learning methods, the combination of Vlog and standardized teaching for operating room nursing improves the teaching quality, which is worthy of further promotion and application.
