Abstract  This study constructs a research on the mechanism and boundary conditions of environmentally-specific transformational leaders on employees’green creativity based on the transformational leadership theory and similarity-attraction theory. And a multiple regression analysis is also conducted to test the mediating and moderating effects. The results show that environmentally-specific transformational leadership has a significantly positive effect on employees’ green creativity, and value congruence mediates the relationship between them. In addition, the above mediating effect is moderated by the creative self-efficacy of employees, that is, the higher the creative self-efficacy of employees, the stronger the role of environmentally-specific transformational leaders in influencing employees’ green creativity through value congruence.
