Research on the Mechanism of Team Faultlines and Team Creativity under the Context of Paradoxical Leadership |

Abstract With increasing global market competition, work teams have gradually replaced individual forms of work andbecome the basic business work unit in organizations. How to inspire team creativity to improve productivity and performance is urgently needed to be explored in the theoretical and practical field. Based on the Input-Process-Output model, a moderated mediation model is constructed concerning team faultlines, team behavior integration, team creativity and paradoxical leadership. We conducted a multi-sourced and time-lagged surveyon 291 employees of 80 work teams from 20 companies. The resultsshow that: team faultlines are significantly negatively related to team creativity, and team behavior integration plays a mediating role. Paradoxical leadership negatively regulates the indirect relationship between team faultlines and team creativity through team behavior integration.
