Abstract  Through empirical analysis of 198 valid samples from the Yangtze River Delta region and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the relationship between the creativity of top manager and business model innovation was tested, and the role of the shared vision was discussed. We found that the creativity of top manager is an important influence factor, which plays a positive role in promoting business model innovation. This study also found that the organization’s shared vision reinforces the role of top manager’s creativity, that is, the higher the shared vision, the greater the impact of top manager’s creativity on the business model innovation.
