Abstract Based on affective events theory and cognitive evaluation theory, the impact of abuse management on turnover intentions, as well as the mediating role of negative emotions and the moderating role of optimistic interpretation styles were investigated through an effective questionnaire survey of 332 employees in 56 companies. The results show that abusive supervision is positively related to negative emotions and turnover intention;Negative emotions mediates the relationship between abusive supervision and turnover intention; Optimistic explanatory style moderates the relationship between abusive supervision and negative emotions, in that the more positive optimistic explanatory style, the less negative emotions, and the less turnover intention .
