Effect of Knowledge Search on Innovation Capability: Based on Double Moderating Function of Knowledge Absorptive Capability and Knowledge Integration Capability
Abstract Based on data collected from 439 high-tech SMEs as samples, this study builds empirical model to explore the effect mechanism between breadth, depth of knowledge search and innovation capability, and also explores the moderating effect of knowledge absorptive capability and knowledge integration capability. The results of empirical research indicate that both breadth and depth make an inverted U-shaped relationship with innovation capability, both knowledge absorptive capability and knowledge integration capability positively moderate the relationship between breadth of knowledge search and innovation capability, the positive moderating effect of both knowledge integration capability and knowledge integration capability on relationship between depth of knowledge search and innovation capability is only partially supported after data analysis.
