Abstract  

This paper tries to analyze the effect of time frame of the fitness in partners objectives on their learning evolution in strategic alliance based on the theoretical explanation and implications in strategic alliance area. It conducts a longitudinal case study to qualitatively explain the time structure of fitness between partners objectives and the dynamic learning in strategic alliance formed by a Chinese SOE and a MNE home at USA. 
