Abstract The representation and implication of the ‘new normal’ have an important effect in the development of social economy and human resource management. It influences the hotspots, selection of normal form and has practical effects on management research. As the globalization, institutional transformation of economy and network information technology in the age of big data interact further, the forth human resource management forum in China was held from November 27th to November 29th in South China University of Technology. The theme of this forum was “the innovation and practice of human resource management in the new normal in China”. The attendance discussed topics such as generation conflicts with young staff, native human resource management of interaction between employees and organization in Chinese culture, employees’ initiative and voice behavior, innovation behavior and behavioral science in big data. There were 14 separate forums and 5 practical explore modules to study on human resource management theory and practice from different angles.
