Abstract Collaborative information is emphasized in the problem of partner selection of knowledge creation team (KC term). Firstly, the collaboration relationship and collaborative effect between partners is analyzed, and the multiple criteria decision making problem of partner selection for KC team is described. Based on that, the mathematical model for the problem is built which is a 01 quadratic integer programming problem and a GRASP heuristic is developed to solve the problem. Finally, an example is introduced to illustrate the feasibility and applicable value of the proposed method.
