UniversityIndustry Cooperation Impact on Academic Team Core Competence and Its Mechanism |

Abstract In this paper, we use the data of 98 academic teams in Guangdong universities to make the empirical study, the result shows that: i) team building is positively related to both dimensions of team core competence, the impact of team building is more conductive to academic ability than ability of serving the society;ii) team formalization partly mediates the relationship between universityindustry cooperation breadth, cooperation depth, team academic ability and ability of serving the society; iii) team culture has no mediating role between cooperation breadth, academic ability and ability of serving the society, partly mediates the relationship between cooperation depth and academic ability, while entirely mediates the relationship between cooperation depth and ability to serve the society; iv) team learning partly mediates the relationship between cooperation breadth, cooperation depth, academic ability and ability of serving the society.
