There are many problems behind increasingly serious employment situation, but unreasonable curriculum is a key reason, which leads to the mismatch between the competencies of undergraduates and needs of employers. In this paper, the idea of competency is introduced into curriculum design. Taking business administration as research example, suggestions for curriculum design based on competency model is put forward based on survey and analysis about curriculum status and experience from foreign education.
