On the basis of some index to weigh the development levels of venture capital, the main cities in China were divided into different catalogues using cluster analysis.The characteristics of each area, development level of the venture capital and the develonment condition in different areas were analyzed.According to the regional advantage and local conditions of different area, different tactics to accelerate the development of venture capital should the adopted.
