The Evolution of Innovation Mode of Small and Medium Technology Enterprises under the Synergy of Opportunity Identification and Ambidextrous Strategy Combinations

Abstract:Taking M company as the research object, the case study method is adopted to explore the differentiation matching of enterprise competitive advantages and the evolution of resource-focused action under the cooperation of opportunity identification and ambidextrous strategy combinations in the process of iterative innovation, and reveal the formation mechanism and the path of enterprise iterative innovation. The results show that opportunity identification is a complex dynamic process and has bigger differences. According to the identified opportunities, enterprises can creatively utilize the synergy effectiveness among ambidextrous strategy combinations, and stimulate the differential allocation of different competitive advantage modules to achieve strategic flexibility based on resource heterogeneity, imperfect factor mobility and so on. The debugging interaction between opportunity identification and ambidextrous strategy combinations drives the resource-focused action to go through the stage evolution of patchwork, arrangement and coordination, then realize the iterative innovation process of “technological exploratory development mode—market pioneering development mode—collaborative innovative development mode”.
