Searching for “Invisible Colleges” in the International Management Research of China:
A Social Network Analysis Based on the SSCI Journals from 1978~2010
Abstract：Based on the literature on SSCI journals (1978~2010) about the international management research of China, this study conducts social network analysis with the knowledge of document cocitation analysis. Three invisible colleges including the resourcebased view，the new institutionalism and crosscultural study, are identified，which facilitates the understanding on the basic structure，the features of knowledge production and social organization of each invisible college in depth. Finally, some reference and guidance for Chinese local scholars who want to go into the mainstream of the international management research of scientific community are provided.
