Application Effect of Intracavitary 3CG Localization Technique in Tip Location of Arm Infusion Port in Tumor Patients

Abstract: Objective To investigate the application effect of intracavitary 3CG localization technique in the tip location of arm infusion port in tumor patients. Methods From June 25, 2021 to October 31, 2021, 97 tumor patients were selected from the oncology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. According to the random number method, the patients were divided into observation group (n=49) and control group (n=48). Catheter tip was located by intracavitary ECG and intracavitary 3CG were used respectively for catheter tip in the control group and in the observation group. The stable electrocardiogram extraction rate, characteristic P wave occurrence rate, primary catheter ectopic rate, optimal catheter tip indwelling rate and catheter tip positioning time were compared between the two groups. Results There was no difference in stable electrocardiogram extraction rate, characteristic P wave occurrence rate and primary catheter ectopic rate between the two groups(P>0.05). The indwelling rate of catheter tip in the observation group (98%) was higher than that in the control group (88%) (P<0.05). The positioning time of catheter tip in the observation group 34.78±4.16 s was shorter than that in the control group 49.24±6.95 s (P<0.05). Conclusion Intracavity 3CG positioning technique is effective for the positioning of the tip of arm infusion port in tumor patients, and it improves the indwelling rate of the best position of catheter tip, shortens the positioning time of catheter tip. It is worth to be popularized in clinical practice.
