Abstract: Objective To investigate the current status of post-traumatic growth (PTG) of gynecological cancer patients and analyze it influence factors. Methods The investigtion was conducted among 272 gynecological cancer patients by using Posttraumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI), the Distress Disclosure Index and Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS) and multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influence factors. Results The total score of PTG was 56.11±12.77 and multiple linear regression analysis showed that education background, employed or not, disease stage, self-disclosure and social support entered into the regression equation (P<0.05). Conclusion PTG of gynecological cancer patients is in a mediate level, and its main influence factors include education background, employed or not, disease stage, self-disclosure and social support. Positive changes that happened in patients should be closely observed during the treatment and more social support and improvement of self-disclosure will benefit the promotion of PTG.
