Bibliometric Analysis of Hotspots in Research on Mobile Nursing Application in China

Abstract: Objective To analyze current studies on and hotspots of mobile nursing application research in China. Methods We retrieved articles on mobile nursing application in the recent 5 years from China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Wanfang database. Content analysis on the included literature was conducted. Bicomb software was used to analyze the frequency of keywords and gCLUTO 1.0 software for bi-clustering analysis. Results Totally 786 articles were included, and 29 high-frequency keywords were obtained. Articles on mobile nursing application concentrated on applications in assisted nursing teaching, extended nursing, population health education and clinical nursing work. Conclusion The research hotspots are applications of mobile nursing in assisted nursing teaching, extended nursing, population health education and clinical nursing work. The improvement of external validity of research, integration with computer language and nursing language, and development of nursing practice theory are urgent problems in the field of mobile nursing.
