Abstract   Based on the phenomenon that the recycling platform takes advantage of information to bargain for discounted used products, this studyexplores recycling strategies of the recycling platform under no trade-in for new and trade-in for new mode of bargaining scenario and non-bargaining scenario. Conclusions show that: the recycling platform can obtain higher profits in the bargaining scenario than in the non-bargaining scenario. In the no trade-in for new mode, when the durability of refurbished and used product are high and the difference between them is small, the recycling platform achieves multi-win from the perspectives of profit, consumer surplus and environmental impact under the bargaining scenario; In the trade-in for new mode, when the durability of refurbished product is high and the durability of used product is moderate, the recycling platform can also achieve multi-win from the three perspectives in the bargaining scenario. Based on the three perspectives, the trade-in for new mode is better than the no trade-in for new mode when the durability of used product is above medium and the gap between them is small; When the durability of refurbished product is above medium, the no trade-in for new mode is better than the trade-in for new mode.
