Abstract B&Bs,as a city’s card and living advertisement, are growing rapidly in recent years. However, further developments need to be supported by relevant research. This study takes Beijing and Taipei as examples to investigate the differences between the B&B hotel industry in those two places such as houses, hosts, surroundings and tourists’ mood. The,data is collected from Airbnb website, and the content analysis is conducted. By building the comparison graph, it can be seen that there are disparities between B&Bs in Beijing and Taipei in location selection, space creation, hosts’ features, brand management and loyalty of tourists. Putting forward the following suggestions for Beijing B&Bs: ①Base location selection on general convenience rather than traffic convenience; ②Focus on the foundation of “accommodation” and improve the quality by offering tidy, convent, and comfortable houses; ③Attract more hosts who have professional knowledge and love B&B ; ④Tell good stories of the owner and try to show different fascinating lifestyles;⑤Lower the price and expand the profit by revenue management. In addition, further development of B&Bs need to rely on the background of city construction and take land policy innovation as guarantee.
