Abstract This article searches the typical news reported via internet from 2000 to 2015, and defines 107 reports as the study samples. Based on the theory of collective turnover antecedences, consequences and process, we use content analysis method to study the characteristics of collective turnover process. It is found that: there is first leaver in the process of collective turnover, and there are significant differences on the process forms of the leavers’ group. Therefore, through depth interview with 8 former employees of 4 companies which have occurred collective turnover, based on social network perspective, we use multi-case exploratory study to analyze the interpersonal interaction of collective turnover process. It is found that centrality can predict the first leaver, and the following leavers often come from the strongly connected, and the strength of the connection influences the interpersonal interaction style and mechanism, and there are 4 dynamic development stages of collective turnover process. At last, this study constructs the framework of the interpersonal interaction dynamic mechanism of collective turnover process, extends the interpersonal level theory of the collective turnover from social network perspective, and also provides guidance to the intervention management practice.
